Jim Rivard, Physical Therapist

Jim Rivard, PT, DMT, OSC, C-STEP, FAAOMPT

Jim Rivard is the founder and owner of PT Motion Lab (2017), as well as the founder of MTI Physical therapy (1998). Jim’s education began with a physical therapy degree from University of Puget Sound in 1988, followed by 4 years of postgraduate clinical training in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy through The Ola Grimsby Institute. With a continued list of courses and certifications, Jim is truly a lifelong learner. In addition to his own educational journey, Jim has taught over 300 manual therapy and movement courses and conference lectures in over 15 countries and throughout the USA. His decades-long experience includes thousands of patients with a wide variety of orthopedic conditions, working with athletes from junior high, high school, collegiate, recreational, semi-professional and professional athletes.
